The Toast of the Town committee is pleased to report another very successful event this year. A net profit of $16,000 was divided between St. John’s and Christ Church with St. John’s receiving $6,400 and Christ Church receiving $9,600.
Nancy Del Borgo was chosen as the “Toast of the Town” for 2018. She has worked tirelessly since the first year of this fundraiser in 2015 to help in every aspect of the event from selling tickets to overseeing the collection of silent auction items.
We are so grateful to her for all that she does to make this event a success.
The committee wishes to express its appreciation to all those who contributed items for the silent auction or made donations, bought 50/50 tickets, attended this year’s event, or bought tickets for $100. Without the generosity of all those involved this event would not be possible. Finally, the committee thanks all of the volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to create this opportunity to raise much needed funds for both of the River Parishes.
